Restart a Heart Day

The P6 and 7 classes were taught CPR by Mrs Black and Miss Lennon, our trained Heartstart teachers, using Resusci Annie manikins. This was part of the global Restart a Heart Day to teach young children what to do if someone has difficulty breathing.
P1, 2 & 3 were learning how to ring 999 if there is an emergency and how to spot dangers around the home. P4&5 were learning how to put a person into the recovery position. All extremely valuable information that could save a life. Check out our gallery for more photos.
